Dr. Jean-François Berret (DR1 CNRS) is a renowned scientist in soft-condensed matter and biophysics. He is member of the Matière et Systèmes Complexes lab since 2005 and has a strong experience in fundamental and applied research.
CURRICULUM VITAE

Dr. Jean-François Berret is a former student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure ENS-ULM in Paris with a major in physics. He entered the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in 1983 at the age of 24, became CNRS director of research in 1999 and was promoted first class CNRS director of research in 2011. He worked 4 years in the USA (2000 – 2004) for Rhodia®. Dr. Jean-François Berret seeks pluri-disciplinary applications, notably in the fields of medicine, biology and the environment. They include the development of tools for imaging and therapy in vivo, microfluidics and microrheology, as well as the study of living system-machine interfaces.
